Harbor seals trapped by ice in E. China

A harbor seal swims in ice water at a bay in a scenic area of Yantai, east China's Shandong Province, Jan. 7, 2011. As local temperature fell to minus 7 degrees centigrade, habour seals were trapped by the ice on the surface of water at the scenic area. Staff members have taken efforts to help harbor seals, an endangered species, go through the cold winter. (Xinhua)
