Young men light candles at the debutant for young men of Yao ethnic group in Gaodian Village of Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Dec. 12, 2010. About ten some young men in the village entered the society as adults after an ethnic debutant ceremony recently. In order to be recognized by the society, young men of the Yao ethnic group must go through a debutante ceremony, in which they will receive education on history, morality, etiquette, etc, and also take arduous challenges testing their courage.
