Quake babies reunite with nurse rescuers one year on

 A one-year-old baby girl is helped by her mother to walk a day before this year's International Nurses Day, also the one-year anniversary of the May-12 earthquake in Dujiangyan, southwest China's Sichuan province May 11, 2009. During the several minutes right after the devastating earthquake, the nurses transferred eight newborn babies in a building in the People's Hospital of Dujiangyan to a safe area until all of them were taken by their family members. Five of the babies and their mothers paid a visit to their heroine rescuers one year after the disaster.(Xinhua Photo)
