Israeli President Shimon Peres attends the Israeli Labour movement's annual parade in Jerusalem, May 30, 2011, two days before Jerusalem Day. Jerusalem Day will be marked on Wednesday to commemorate the anniversary of Israel's capture of the eastern part of the city. Israel occupied East Jerusalem in the 1967 Mideast War and declared the whole city as its "eternal and undivided capital" in 1980 in a move not recognized by the international community.
