Shaolin Temple abbot Shi gifts books to U.S. Library of Congress

On May 25, on the occasion of the Book Handover Ceremony held at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., the United States, Shaolin Temple abbot Shi Yongxin paid a visit to the library of its Buddhist scriptures. On behalf of the Shaolin Temple, he gifted a number of valuable manuscripts written in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Among those is "Shaolin Kung Fu Admitted in Tips," which is one of the rare ancient books the Shaolin Temple found in these years. (Xinhua Photo/ Zhang Jun)
