On Jul 8, an insider from CCTV revealed that famous CCTV broadcaster Xing Zhibin co-anchor of CCTV's national news program "Xinwen Lianbo" (News Broadcast) officially finished her retirement procedure early this month.

After her old co-anchor Luo Jing passed away, Xing submitted her application for retirement. And early this month, she officially finished procedures. All her co-workers wished she wouldn't leave, hoping instead she would stay and guide the young broadcasters. In 1964, after she graduated from the high school affiliated to Beijing Normal University Xing became a broadcaster for Daxing county, Beijing. In 1973, she transferred to CCTV and started to broadcast the news program the following year. In July, 1981, she accomplished her first show on "Xinwen Lianbo" with her partner Zhao Zhongxiang.
In her nearly 30 years work audiences have spoken highly of her because of her proper image and accurate annunciation. So far, she is the longest serving of the "Xinwen Lianbo" team and her most famous broadcasts were the National Parades in 1984 and 1999.
