The third confirmed case of A/H1N1 flu on Chinese mainland had no sign of fever or other symptoms when entering the country on May 11, the country's quality watchdog said Sunday.
According to investigation results from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the 18-year-old female surnamed Liu twice passed the temperature measurer with body temperature under 37 degree Celsius during quarantine at the airport.
According to the application materials submitted by Liu, she had been to New Jersey, the United States, but did not get in touch with any flu patients or pigs.
No passenger aboard the plane has signs of vomiting, diarrhea, fever or chills, and the crew members are all healthy.
Liu, a Beijing native, arrived in Beijing on May 11 via Continental Airline C089, reached home accompanied by her mother, and did not go out or meet friends after arriving home, the Ministry of Health announced Saturday.
She didn't feel well and experienced physical weakness on May 12 and went to the hospital two days later. Her case was confirmed on Saturday.
