As Shanghai prepares for next year's "World Expo", a unique cultural exchange is taking place between Shanghai and the Danish city of Copenhagen.

One of Denmark's most famous landmarks, the "Little Mermaid", is temporarily heading East to celebrate the Expo. The designer of the Denmark Pavilion will bring the Little Mermaid to Shanghai next April. Danish officials will replace the statue in Copenhagen's harbor with an installation from a Chinese artist. Organizers say the move will bring the two countries closer together.
