A delegation of Tibetologists is visiting Norway and introducing the development of Tibet to Norwegians from all walks of life.

Shen Kaiyun, leader of the delegation introduced the economic development, freedom of religious beliefs, and traditional culture protection in Tibet to Norwegian parliament members.

Dawaciren, Tibetologist, introduced Chinese government's efforts on protecting the ecological environment of Tibet and the accomplishments.

There were 1,700 monasteries and 46,000 religious workers in Tibet at present. The central government invests large amount of money to repair the monasteries every year, which reflects the freedom of religious beliefs in Tibet. The Dalai Clique’ actions were inconsistent with their words. Shen Kaiyun said that when introducing the current religious situation of Tibet to Russell, the General Secretary of Norwegian Buddhism Association.

Russell said it was quite helpful for them to comprehensively understand Tibet through this sincere communication.
