It's the time to pay your employees "year-end-bonus" again. Apart from several special ways to award workers, most bosses still choose the most traditional way to encourage their workers — money, which is also the most popular way.

However, the old problem would bother again at this time. A receptionist in some finance company could get 100 thousands yuan as bonus, and an operation manager in the same company could get millions. The situation of this let people can help asking why.

Some experts suggest those bosses to be fair and transparent on the amount of bonus, and it would be better to let workers know why someone gets more while someone gets less.

Working in finance industry means more money

According to Pu Shilin, an expert on salary, lots of industries turned in a "V" shape on offering year-end-bonus in this year after last's depression. In some a finance company, a receptionist could get 10, 4000 yuan as bonus, and an operation manager in the same company could get 3 to 4 millions, and a high level manager could get 8 to 9 millions.

Although, this is not a common circumstance in finance industry, for example, it is not so well like this in banks, insurance agents and other traditional finance companies because of huge mount of employees make a low average number. However, these traditional companies are still better than other companies out of the board of finance.

In a listed joint-equity bank, half of account executives can be awarded 80 thousands to millions yuan.

Ms. Huang, who has been working in a stocks company for half a year, got more than 60 thousands yuan (after taxed) as her year-end-bonus. However, she worked nearly 6 years in a company before, but never got bonus more than 10000 yuan.

In contrast, companies of export and resources are not so rich enough, and they just experienced a tough year in 2009. Workers in such companies can not get huge sum of money as bonus, most of them only be awarded with thousands of yuan, and even a vice general manager can only get hundreds of thousands yuan.
