People perform folk dance at a sacrificial ceremony to worship the goddess Yaoniang, in Nongguang Village of Tianlin County, southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Feb. 27, 2011. The custom results from a legend, in which a girl of Yao ethnic group fell in love with a young man of Zhuang ethnic group long time ago and helped the village prosper and the two ethnic groups live in harmony so that local villagers esteemed her as the ancester and goddess after her death.
