Chicago students to experience China via multimedia

A multimedia teaching system that will enable students to experience Chinese culture opened on Feb. 9 at the Confucius Institute on the campus of Walter Payton College Preparatory High School in northern Chicago.
The system would present Chinese history, culture, geography, origin of Chinese characters, music, folk arts, martial arts and calligraphy, according to cultural officials of China's Consulate General in Chicago.
