A bloated looking fellow walking stiffly like the Michelin tire man caught the attention of police at the Harbin railway station, Heilongjiang Province on January 9 as he passed through the security area and when they pulled him aside to scan him they found 201 lighters taped on his body.

The man surnamed Liu from Hegang, Heilongjiang had taped them to his chest, armpits, calves and other areas. Liu said he bought them from a wholesale market at a friend's request, and was taking them to him for retail sale, but knew they wouldn't be allowed on the train.

Indeed they weren't. Police confiscated the lighters, though he was not detained. Railway regulations state that a passenger may only take five lighters and 20 small boxes of matches at the maximum.
