Coming of Age Day marked in Japan

Youths receive drink during the "Genpuku" ceremony held in Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, capital of Japan, on Jan. 10, 2010, the Coming of Age Day. The Coming of Age Day is a Japanese holiday held annually on the second Monday of January, which is held in order to congratulate and encourage all those who have reached 20 years old over the past year. Meiji Shrine hold an historical Japannese coming of age ceremony named "Genpuku" on the Coming of Age Day every year. (Xinhua/Ji Chunpeng)
