The media conference themed "2011 Xi'an Great Temple Fair Xi'an City Wall Spring Lantern Festival & Chengdu International Panda Lantern Festival" was held at the Gate Tower of Xi'an South Gate & City Wall at 9:30 am on Wednesday. Yao Lijun, the Party Secretary of Xi’an City Wall Administrative Committee, attended the conference.
The "2011 Xi'an Great Temple Fair" will open from January 26 to February 27 between the road section of the Smaller South Gate and Heping Gate of the city wall. The fashionable and creative idea of the temple fair comes from the panda lanterns.
