20th anniversary of Writer Sanmao's death marked in Taipei

A visitor tours during an exhibition marking the 20th anniversary of Sanmao's death in Taipei, southeast China's Taiwan, Jan. 4, 2011. The commemorative exhibition, titled "the Echo Legacy", was launched here Tuesday. Sanmao was the pseudonym of popular Taiwanese writer Chen Ping, or Echo Chan, who committed suicide in 1991. The Taiwanese literary lion won a name in the 1970s and became well-received in the Chinese communities. (Xinhua/Song Lidong)
