Pedestrians in Kunming, Yunan Province cluster to admire a multicolored chalk drawing of the Mona Lisa created by a one-legged street artist named Cong Langui on December 15.

"Mona Lisa is my favorite," said Cong, 48. "I have painted her more than 300 times in 10 years, and I used to complete it in three hours, but today, I was in a good mood and perfected it in four hours." Cong's reproduction was 2.4 meters long and 2 meters wide.

Cong was born in Linyi, Shandong Province and had to get his left leg amputated due to bone cancer when he was 16.

From then on, he fell in love with painting and copied world-famous paintings at home every day. He left home to paint on the streets at the age of 21 and has traveled more than 20 provinces and cities throughout China.
