Year 2004: Giorgio Armani makes first China trip

Giorgio Armani, the most famous Italian fashion designer, came to China for the first time on April 14 2004 and stayed in the country for a week. During that time, he paid a visit to the Forbidden City. He also joined the opening ceremony of a Giorgio Armani flagship store in Shanghai and held the Autumn/Winner Fashion Show in Hong Kong.
