10 million yuan lottery prize unclaimed in Jiangsu

The winner of a 10 million yuan bonus lottery prize in Qiandeng Town, Suzhou city failed to claim his prize yesterday. This is the largest unclaimed bonus prize amount up in China's lottery history.

The winning number of No. 2010069 "Double Color Ball Lottery" was published on June 17 and two winners, one from Anhui and another from Jiangsu, came out.

According to the keeper of the betting station, the winner from Jiangsu paid two yuan for a number on the morning of June 16. The next day, his number was announced to be the winning number of the 10 million yuan bonus.

In the evening of Aug. 16, the last day before the expiry date, many journalists from different media outlets swarmed the betting station and waited for the winner. However, the winner didn't appear in the betting station before midnight on Aug. 16.
