The Chaihe region in Inner Mongolia has been evaluated to house China's largest group of crater lakes, according to research by Chinese geological experts.
Recently years, 15 explosion craters, seven high altitude crater lakes and one 13-kilometers-long volcanic rift zone have been discovered by the geological research department. These natural landscapes have formed a unique site.
