From Madonna to Michelle Obama via Oprah Winfrey, these women are no ordinary people. As the acknowledged paragons in their own career field, they possess a huge fans base which treat them as the icons.

Maybe some of them don’t have pretty faces or good-looking figures, but all of them are definitely smart and charming. They have specific aims in life and try to achieve them with unremitting endeavors. Though some of them was born hundreds years ago, their spirits and works can still inspire and lead us.

Recently, UK fashion magazine "Glamour" has released a list of "Glamour's inspirational women." From writers, actors, politician to musicians, maybe there’ll be someone who once inspired you.
