Sheng Lianxi, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) member and the Secretary of Party Committee of Northeast Normal University, had pointed that the graduates' employment difficulty and the civilian worker shortage can not be mentioned in the same breath on March 6.
Sheng said, "Several days ago, I've seen news about CPPCC members visiting the 'ants tribe' graduates in the suburban areas in Beijing and they even wept tears when they saw the graduates' living conditions. In my opinion, the 'ants' graduates problem is in fact related to how the generations after 80s and 90s develop."
When talking about the causes of the graduates' employment difficulties, Lian said that some people think the main problem is that education lags behind society's needs. He said he thinks proper tolerance should be given to this issue. Meanwhile, the education structures as well as the students' studying method should be adjusted.
