World's largest catfish landed by British blind woman

The catfish was 97.85 kilograms weight.


Sheila Penfold, a blind British woman, had landed a 97.85 kilogram catfish when vacationing with her family in Barcelona , Spain. Now Sheila and the catfish are all collected in Guinness World Records.

The 56-year-old Sheila is 1.6 meters tall and she is a blind woman. Recently, she caught a large catfish with the flatfish lures when going on vacation in Ebro River in Spain. The catfish was 97.85 kilograms weight. Under the direction of her husband and son, she strive with the fish about half an hour and landed it successfully.

This fish was proved to be the largest fish that have even been caught in Spain. It needs at least people to raise it up. After taking pictures with the fish, Sheila put it back to the river.

In 2005, a 56 kilograms blue catfish was caught in Alton in America. The fish was used to be considered as the world's largest catfish.
