An online video of two teenagers engaged in sexual acts has triggered heated debate on Internet forums in Shunde, Guangdong Province.

Local police have launched an investigation into the explicit video.

The 6-minute-33-second long video was uploaded onto Shunde's largest online forum, bbs.shunderen.com, by a netizen Saturday with the username "Aidejishi."

It has attracted more than 1,000 posts in the two days while it was accessible, according to Guangzhou Daily.

"The couple in the video look like 16 or 17-year-old high school students as the girl wore the uniform of a local high school. From their accent, they should be local people," Zeng Yi, who watched the video, told the Global Times Wednesday.

"The content of the video is not different from Japanese porn videos," he added.

The online posts and the video were not available yesterday, but the video remains a hot topic on the forum.

"It's really shameful to have this kind of thing happen in our county," an unnamed netizen said on the forum.
Some users speculated that the teens are students at Xinglian High School in Xingtan county, Shunde.
However, local police dismissed that idea.

"It can be confirmed that the couple in the video are not students in Xingtan county," Luo Lipeng, a spokesman of Shunde police, told the Global Times.

The school also denied the allegation.

"We didn't find the couple in the video in any of the schools in our county as of Wednesday," said Chen Jianquan, director of Education Bureau of Xingtan county.

"The incident has had very bad influence on students, we have to provide moral education to the students although it was confirmed that they are not from our school," the principal of Xinglian High School told South Metropolitan Daily.

Some students were perplexed.

"I think it's quite risky to have sexual experiences at our age, maybe it'll be more acceptable in universities. We should know how to protect ourselves," said an unnamed high school student in Shunde.
