409 Youths from five continents gather in Beijing

Starting August 4, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Youth Camp (OYC) will welcome 409 international campers from five continents. Among the campers, 209 are male and 200 are female.

Most of the campers are school students, athletes and excellent ambassadors, who love sports. The average age of 60.5% of the campers is between 16 and 18. The youngest camper is a 12-year-old boy from Iraq and the oldest is a 28-year-old man from DPRK.
