More than 10 international artists will be invited to Beijing to attend the China International Public Art Show, aimed to promote modern outdoor art and to greet the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The works of these internationally acclaimed artists will be on show at Beijing's tourist attractions, including the Temple of Heaven and Shicha-hai, next year.
The artworks will include sculptures, multi-media and performing arts, reflecting the charm of Olympic spirit and the humanistic nature of the Beijing Olympics.
Chinese and foreign artists attending the exhibition will be invited to stay in the Chinese capital for about one month to experience the local life style and cultural customs and hold seminars.
Chinese children will be invited to join with the artists in their creative work.
