China Mobile's website 139.com officially launched 139 Talker which is a free social networking and micro-blogging service like Twitter. Meanwhile, 139.com started to transform into a micro-blogging website.

According to China Mobile, users must register with their own mobilephone number, which helps to better avoid irresponsible opinions and multiple IDs applied by a single person.
