Video: European Paralympic Committee President visits Beijing |

On Sept. 8 in Beijing on the occasion of the 2008 Paralympic Games, a joint declaration on supporting the European Paralympic Committee was signed by European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth Jan Figel and EPC president Enrique Sanchez-Guijo.
The statement marks their the partnership between the European Commission and the EPC. For the initial stage, 110,000 euro will be granted to build a head office for EPC in Vienna, Austria. The office is operational now.
