The "2011 American Business in China White Paper" released by AmCham-China on April 26 said that the operating performance of U.S. enterprises in China has been restored to the same level before the international financial crisis in 2010.
The white paper's "Business Environment Survey Report" regarding 434 member companies of AmCham-China shows that the operation of U.S. companies in China was "very good" over the past year.
A total of 85 percent of respondents achieved growth in operating income in 2010, 78 percent made profits or large profits, and 41 percent expressed that their profit margins in China have exceeded global profit margins. Many companies also plan to expand their business in China.
