Dalai Lama clique has come up repeatedly with lies in recent days, and a certain type of lies are deceptive particularly to those people, who are unacquainted with what China is like or its special circumstances.
We'd better review what these lies of the Dalal Lama's are about:
First, the representative office or the mission of the Dalai clique in Australia on March 25 released the names and details of the so-called 40 identified people killed in the Lhasa riots on March 14. Five persons on the list with the detailed residences or work units were, nevertheless, still alive or did not exist at all.
Second, the Dalai Lama on March 29 blamed on Chinese soldiers who he said had been disguised as Buddhist monks to create an impression that Tibetans have incited riots. He made an accusation following a Buddhist service function held in the Gandhi tomb in New Delhi. Surveys made in all ways, however, confirm the picture was actually taken during a movie shoot in September 2001, and the police were acting as extras in the movies and were handed out costumes for their roles as monks.
Third, the Dalai Lama afterwards said banks were looted during the Lhasa riots on March 14 as "special funds have also been sanctioned". Reporters' relevant investigations show that appropriations from central authorities are earmarked for the special purposes, and a large number of Tibetan farmers and herders have benefited from financial and credit loaning service. So the Dalai's allegations are totally groundless.
Fourth, the Dalai Lama lied again lately. Stalls set ablaze during the "March 14 Incident" were mostly brothels, he said in a recent interview with a medium organ. However, information collected and sorted out by the Industry and Commerce Bureau of the Tibet autonomous region via surveys indicate that of all the stalls to suffer losses during the incident, there were 133 households to manufacture goods, 811 wholesale or retail outlets, 155 eateries, 22 stationery and sportswear shops, 11 medical and health clinics, 124 centers to offer residential services, 13 units for leasing and commercial service, and 16 others in other trades. The assertions of brothels are purely calumnious rumors.
These lies, however, often have something in common. That is, they usually focus on specific individuals or concrete matters, and distort them intentionally by means of dishing up something old in a new form or getting things mixed up so that these things will be taken as valid. Even when they are proven false, many people still believe more or less in liars due to "the prime response effect" and an inadequate message transmission rate.
By altering the nature of the events, the Dalai clique intents precisely to acquit itself of, and prettify and cover up its own responsibily for the activities to seek "Tibet independence"and to secede Tibet. When people worldwide have come to see the Lhasa riots from such violent actions as beating, smashing, looting and arson, the Dalai Lama'd previous lies for "peaceful protests" are losing audiences, and he himself can hardly escape his own responsibility. In such circumstances, Dalai turned to seek the "factual basis" to prove the "justice" or fairness of violence in a bid to gain people's sympathy by cheating.
When people ask for the clarification of these lies, the Dalai Lama keeps silent. Since he has kept up telling and repeating lies, he is bound to show his forked tongue and unmask more of its ugly features. Once his lies are fully exposed and truth has been brought to light, will people then still believe in the stuff of his excuses?
