Indonesian men's shuttlers, who used to dominate the badminton world, have to face tough rivals in Badminton World Federation's (BWF) 2011 Indonesia Open superseries opening round on Wednesday.

Top shuttler Taufik Hidayat, world number three, would face Malaysian rising star Daren Liew, whom he defeated in last week's Singapore Open with three tough games. Meanwhile, Indonesian hopeful Simin Santoso is scheduled to face China's Chen Jin.

Alamsyah Yunus has to face China's world number two Lin Dan. Rising star Tommy Sugiarto has to quash the defending Indonesian Open champion Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia, the current world number one.
