Flamengo slams Atletico-MG 4-1

After a long week of criticism, team captain Ronaldinho Gaucho led Flamengo to a 4-1 win over Atletico-MG on Saturday.

The veteran midfielder finally satisfied his fans by scoring once and helped his team to a convincing victory.

Ronaldinho was the victim of constant criticism and complaints throughout the week due to his lack of play. The athlete's constant "abuse" of Rio de Janeiro's night life has also been a target for disapproval.

Nevertheless, the star midfielder was able to silence his critics and perform well for the first time in a long time on Saturday. Despite a mediocre first half, Ronaldinho returned to the second half and lit up the scoreboard.Apart from the team captain, Devid scored twice and Thiago Neves scored the team's fourth goal. Dudu Cearense scored Atletico-MG's only goal.

The win improved Flamengo to 10 points, provisionally standing in fifth place.Atletico-MG remains with 8 points, dropping to seventh place. In the next round of play, Flamengo will travel to face America-MG on June 29 while Atletico-MG will receive Internacional on June 30.
