Two days after performing his medical exams, the Atletico-MG soccer team named Jobson to its 2011 roster on Thursday.

The former polemic athlete of Botafogo is now the sixth reinforcement of Atletico-MG for next year.

Atletico-MG's team president Alexandre Kalil made the announcement after weeks of negotiation with Botafogo. Jobson currently has a contract with Botafogo that extends until July 2015. His stay with Atletico-MG will be for one year.

At the completion of the one year period, Atletico-MG will have the option of purchasing the player's rights from Botafogo.

The 22-year-old striker awaits the finals details between Botafogo and his former team Brasiliense in order to sign his contract with Atletico-MG.

The athlete is expected to sign his contract within the next few days. Apart from Jobson, Atletico-MG has already signed midfielders Richarlyson, Toro, Patric, Wesley and striker Mango Alves.

The team hopes to sign two additional players for next year, including a goalie and fullback.
