Former Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said on Wednesday that he would like to take charge of Corinthians but he could not accept the job until next year.
Corinthians has yet to name a replacement for Adilson Batista who walked away from the post last Sunday, and president Andres Sanchez openly declared that the club are interested in Parreira.
However, the coach of Brazil's 1994 World Cup winning team made it clear that he is only interested in taking command of the team in 2011.
Parreira said that he does not want to initiate negotiations until December.
