Ceara tied with home team Goias 1-1 on Sunday in the 23rd round of the Brazilian Championship.
After Oziel scored Ceara's only goal, the team dropped back on defense in order to secure their lead. However, a defensive breakdown allowed Goias' Wellington Monteiro to score the equalizer in the final minutes.
Oziel scored his first goal with Ceara and lamented the team's drop in their defensive awareness. The striker claimed that such an incident cannot happen and warned that in the future the lack of attention can lead to a loss.
The result dropped Ceara to ninth place with 30 points. The team's new head coach Dimas Filguieras remains undefeated at Ceara with one win and two draw. In the next round Ceara will travel to face Cruzeiro on Wednesday while 18th placed Goias will host Atletico-GO.
