Vitoria and Ceara draw in scoreless match

Vitoria ended their 22nd round match of the Brazilian Championship with a 0-0 draw against Ceara on Wednesday.

The match was technically and tactically weak. The first half appeared as if both teams were asleep. The second half was more exciting, but neither team managed to convert a variety of opportunities into a single goal.

The result improved Ceara's standing to eighth place with 29 points. In the 23rd round Ceara will host Goias on Sunday.

Vitoria remained in 15th place with 25 points and will travel to face Atletico-MG on Saturday.
