Proving that he has healed from his right calf injury, star striker Ronaldo played in a scrimmage on Thursday with reserve members of Corinthians against its under 18 team.

Ronaldo gave an assist to Renato, leading the reserve team to a 4-0 win.

Undisputably heavier, Ronaldo played in the entire scrimmage. Apart from Renato, Defederico scored the team's other three goals.

The match served to prove that the striker is ready to return to the field. He has not played since May 8 when he suffered a strain in his right calf in the debut of the 2010 Brazilian Championship.

Ronaldo hopes to be included in the roster of the team's upcoming road game against Avai for the 14th round of the Brazilian Championship on August 15.

Ronaldo's return is timely especially since fellow striker Dentinho is sidelined with an injury to his right thigh.
