At home against Guarani, Atletico-GO was unable to hold onto an early lead, resulting in a 1-1 draw in the 12th round of the Brazilian Championship on Saturday.

The team remains at the bottom of this year's tournament.

The home team scored in the 4th minute when Thiago Feltri crossed the ball from the lower left side, finding a leaping Rodrigou Tiui who head it into the goal.

However, Guarani responded in the 17th minute. In their first offensive attack, Mazola drove towards the top of the penalty box and fired a shot that sent the ball into the upper right side of the Atletico-GO goal.

Poor field conditions limited both teams. Although at their home stadium, Atletico-GO's grass has not yet settled after a recent transplant, causing the ball to suffer radical movements and unpredictable bounces.

The result leaves Atletico-GO in 12th and last place with eight points. Guarani rose to 10th place with 15 points.
