Olympiakos Piraeus defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos has reportedly agreed on a switch to German Bundesliga giants Schalke, a soccernews webste reported on Monday.
The 18-year-old, who is considered a hot prospect of his nation, is rumored to have agreed a four-year deal with the Royal Blues, although a formal offer to Olympiakos has yet to be made, according to soccernews.com.
Papadopoulos has appeared for the Greece national side at various youth levels but is yet to earn his first cap.
He has been linked with a move away from Piraeus though, and Premier League club Manchester City were thought to be keen on the center-back.
If Olympiakos agree to the sale, a fee of 2.5 million euros is expected to change hands.
