FC Porto lifted the Portuguese Cup title on Sunday for the 15th time following a 2-1 win over second-division side Desportivo de Chaves.

First half goals from Freddy Guarin (13) and Radamel Falcao (23) ensured a victory for FC Porto with Paulo Clemente pulling one back for Desportivo de Chaves five minutes from time.

FC Porto finished third in the Portuguese league this season behind champions Benfica and runners-up Sporting Braga, which means for the first time in 18 years, Porto won't play the Champions League next season, Europe's premier competition.
