Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski gifted Porto two goals on Wednesday as the former champions beat the Premier League side 2-1 in a first leg in the round of last 16 in the Champions League.

Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski fumbled a cross from Silvestre Varela into his own net to concede the opening goal and then handled a backpass by teammate Sol Campbell to hand Porto its second goal.

Although Campbell's header had made it 1-1 for his first Champions League goal since the 2006 final, the second strike by Falcao, from a quickly taken free kick after Fabianski's error, gave two-time European champion Porto a first-leg victory to take to London.

Also on Wednesday, substitute striker Miroslav Klose scored a contested goal in the 89th minute to give Bayern Munich a 2-1 win over 10-man Fiorentina.

Bayern made it 13 victories in a row in all competitions after winning the match.

Earlier, Arjen Robben converted a penalty in the final seconds of first half stoppage time, driving the ball low into the left corner after Per Kroldrup fouled Franck Ribery.

Kroldrup made up for his error by scoring the equalizer five minutes into the second half.
