Real Madrid midfielder Kaka said on Tuesday that he had felt on reaction after his return to the football field and played without pain for the first time in half a year.

The Brazilian played in his side's 2-0 win over Mallorca on Sunday night. It was his first game after missing 42 days due to a groin problem.

"It doesn't hurt me and after six months playing with problems, I was able to play for 60 or 70 minutes without pain," he told radio station Cadena Ser.

"It has been six months. I had a problem with my left foot when I was still at Milan and when I started playing after that injury, I had a problem with my pelvis."

"This sort of problem limits you a lot when you are playing and there came a moment when I couldn't carry on and decided to stop," he explained.

"Everything hurt, it is a problem that you suffer just below your abdomen and it hurts at every moment of the day."

"I was still able to play well in some games, but it is difficult to maintain a level of play. I know I can do things better, but I have still had some good moments," said Kaka.

"That is why I was out of action 42 days until the pain stopped," he confirmed.
