Albania coach Otto Baric has been banned by UEFA from carrying out any official functions for three games for improper behavior during a match, local news media reported on Tuesday.

Baric, 75-year-old Croatian, has been suspended by UEFA's control and disciplinary body for insulting a referee during a EURO 2008 Group G qualifier against Bulgaria in Tirana on October 17.

He was not allowed in the dressing room, technical area, or tunnel before and during the match when Albania plays at home against Belarus on November 17, Romania on November 21 and Albania' s next international match.
