Brazil beat Australia 95-76 on Saturday night to win the Super Four basketball tournament that also included Argentina and Uruguay.
Brazil was led by Leandro Barbosa on 15 points. Anderson Varejao added 13 points. Australia's Gibson top-scored with 22 points.
With their victory under their belts, the Brazilians will travel to Sao Paulo where they will have one-week training before leaving for the 2009 American Cup of basketball.
The American Cup will be held in Puerto Rico, starting on August 26. Brazil is in Group B alongside Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
Before that, Brazil will take part in another four-team tournament that features Canada, Argentina and Puerto Rico.
