Dallas Mavericks head coach Avery Johnson has been fined 25,000 U.S. dollars by the National Basketball Association (NBA) for his actions during a game against the Indiana Pacers last week.
Johnson was penalised for failing to leave the court in a timely manner and for verbal abuse of a game official, NBA executive Stu Jackson said in a statement on Monday.
The incident occurred with 8:34 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Mavericks' 111-107 loss to the Pacers on Friday.
