The world No. 2 Novak Djokovic defeated Australian teenager Bernard Tomic to book a semifinal berth first in the men's singles at the Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old Serb outplayed the qualifier Tomic 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, waiting for the winner between Swiss legend Roger Federer and the 12th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.
