Pavlyuchenkova enters quarterfinals at French Open

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia advanced into the quarterfinals of the French Open on Sunday with a 7-6 (7/4), 2-6, 6-2 win over compatriot and third seed Vera Zvonareva.

The 19-year-old from Moscow will next play the winner of the match between defending champion Francesca Schiavone of Italy and Jelena Jankovic of Serbia for a place in the semifinals.
