Woods to Debut at Torrey Pines in US Open

World number three Woods is set to make his first appearance at Torry Pines in three years.
Tiger Woods, now world number three, has been paired with Rocco Mediate for his US PGA Tour season debut this week at Torrey Pines golf course in San Diego.

Woods has won the past five tournaments he's played at Torrey Pines, including the US Open victory over Mediate. The $5.8 million Farmers Insurance Open begins in two days.

The 35-year-old hasn't played at Torrey Pines the past two years, missing the PGA Tour event in 2009 due to knee surgery and last year because of personal issues that led to his divorce.

He failed to capture a single title last year.
