Djokovic wins China Open men's singles title

Second seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat Marin Cilic from Croatia in straight two sets 6-2, 7-6(4) to win the men's singles title at the 6.6 million U.S. dollars China Open in Beijing on Sunday.

The first set was interrupted by a sudden rain at 2-2 tie, and after an almost two-hour suspension, Djokovic seemed in a much better form that he broke in the sixth and eighth games to win the set 6-2 quickly.

It seemed as if the Croatian would make a comeback at the start of the second set as he broke in the first game, but the second seed broke back in the sixth game to make it 3-3 tie.

Cilic held his serve in the eighth game and broke in the ninth and 11th, while Djokovic broke in the 10th and 12th games. In the tiebreak, the serbian didn't leave any chance to his opponent and win 7-4 at last.
