Fourth seeds Bai Yan/Zhou Yimiao of Wuhan beat top seeds Zhang Ze/Li Ting from Nanjing in the final to take the mixed doubles title in Wuhan at the Sixth Chinese City Games tennis tournament on Tuesday.
The Wuhan pair eased past Zhang/Li 6-2, 6-4 in one hour and 30 minutes.
Bai/Zhou hit top gear quickly in the opening set, taking two serves of their opponents before winning it at 6-2.
The two duos exchanged breaks in the first two games of the second set, but it was the Wuhan pair that pulled away first, racing up to 5-3 after breaking Zhang/Li in the eighth game. The Wuhan pair closed out the match at 6-4.

Seven gold medals are up for grabs at the tennis tournament of the City Games, with five of them offered in individual events which last through to Nov. 3. Team Wuhan has wrapped up team titles both in men's and women's categories.
